Prototype Design & Development
From concept to completion our Prototype Design and Development Department are here to work directly with you throughout the entire process. Complete with a separate engineering and scheduling staff, our prototype projects have a rapid turnaround time so you can promptly have your hands on your ideas.
Anodizing & Special Processing
Instru-med works closely with our sister company, Smith Metal Finishing, to put the final finish on your instruments. Operating out of a high-tech facility, Smith Metal offers an extensive range of anodizing capabilities.
Multi-color Dye
Our unique two-tone color processing capabilities are a crisp way to show the versatility of your instruments. Two colors on one solid piece is a functional and distinctive identification system. This exceptional design feature is a complex process created to enhance your instrument. Any color is available and our custom color matching capabilities keep a uniformity of color to match your finishing needs.

Hard Coat
We create durable finishes through our distinctive anodizing methods. Using a military grade hard coat, we can provide the truest hard coat in the industry. This is not a modified hard coat, it is currently the maximum hard coat available.
